Water Pumps

A surface water pump is a type of pump designed to extract water from surface water sources, such as lakes, rivers, ponds, or open wells. Unlike submersible pumps that are submerged in the water source, surface water pumps are installed above the water surface. They use suction to draw water from the source and then pump it to the desired location for various purposes, such as irrigation, domestic use, or industrial applications. 

Expected flow rate: This determines the time a water tank will be filled, the time it will take to irrigate your crops or the number of irrigation sprinkler you can use.

Inlet and outlet size: This will inform the size of piping to be used.

Maximum Head Lift of the pump: This will aid in finding out if the pump will deliver water to the desired location.

Suction: This will tell you if your pump can cover the vertical distance from the water source to the pump itself.
